Bildwechsel

The organizing crew is a part of bildwechsel, an umbrella organization for women+ in media, culture and art. With its main base in Hamburg, bildwechsel acts as a platform and as an infrastructure which women+ can tap into to support and develop their own work / projects / ideas, to find out about the work of others, make connections, develop new initiatives and build up archival collections that represent their work and that of other women+.

Bildwechsel houses different archives, that include for example videos and films, zines and books. The bildwechsel zine collection has over 300 queer, feminist, music, art, grrrl zines. Bildwechsel is also creating a e-zine qunst.mag. Qunst.mag's aim is to provide a platform for queer feminist artists working in various media. All issues can be downloaded at www.qunst.net.

Freja Högback

Freja is a Finnish-Swedish queer feminist and vegan. She considers anarchism, feminism and queer theory good tools to try to understand the world and to deal with it, which also shows in her comics and texts. Besides drawing she is a member of Fuel for Fury, an anarcha-feminist collective.
Fuel has published the zine Musta Maija in 2010, that mainly deals with sexism in the alternative scene in Finland and Sweden.
