bildwechsel is participating in the joint exhibition of hamburg’s independent art venues and is showing an archive module with an insight into the KX collection.
closed collections are sometimes handed over to the bildwechsel archives – one of these is the kx collection.
in 2008, the hamburg art venue KX closed and gave bildwechsel a stock of documentary vhs videos from a recording cycle of exhibitions organized by KX from 1994 – 1997.
